In the last year, 55 million Americans have used marijuana and the sun still rose and the world kept spinning. The other 260 million are either lying or they’ve been too afraid to learn the truth about weed. It blows my mind that since 1937 marijuana has been outlawed nationally.

Speaking of mind-blowing, I suppose I should get in the spirit and smoke a bowl of green, loveliness. Mmmm… ah yes. That was nice. Do I feel like raping and murdering people? No. In fact, every article I’ve written, I was stoned. Surprise! But, don’t hate me, I’m a good, caring, responsible member of society. Let’s get down to the facts.

1. No one has ever overdosed and died from marijuana… in 5,000 years.

2. Researchers at Stanford state that weed smokers have a higher sex drive. Smoking some reefer might save your marriage. In fact, you will get along much better because smoking weed makes even the most irritating humans, tolerable.

3. Weed slows the progression of the glaucoma, preventing blindness.

4. It can help control epileptic seizures.

5. A chemical found in marijuana stops cancer from spreading.

6. It may decrease anxiety.

7. THC slows the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.

Why would this amazing drug be illegal? The shocking fact is that marijuana was outlawed because of racial prejudice against the Mexicans who used it. As one legislator said, “All Mexicans are crazy and this stuff (marijuana) is what makes them crazy.” they must have not heard of white crazies like Ed Gein or Bonnie and Clyde.

The Marihuana Tax Act of 1937 (yeah, the government wasn’t winning any spelling bees back then)

Weed was outlawed at the national level in the US by the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937. The reasons for this law are outrageous and obviously set by ignorant racists pointing the finger at marijuana.

During marijuana hearings, claims were made that weed caused “men of color” to become crazy, violent and worse yet, weed made them try to have sex with white women! I’m sure the white legislatures exclaimed “No! We aren’t getting laid as it is already!” Sounds more like some insecurity issues, than a marijuana problem. insecure

Prior to 1937, weed had celebrated a 5000-year history as a therapeutic medicine within many cultures. The Schafer Commission was smart enough to realize that marijuana should not be on the Schedule I list and even doubted its designation as an illicit substance.

Nixon denied their recommendations, and marijuana remains a Schedule I substance. It’s taken this long to reassess the issue? Didn’t we realize Nixon shouldn’t be our role model on being a good, wholesome person?

bullshit

The government told this tale of ridiculousness, “A young boy who had become addicted to smoking marihuana cigarettes, in a fit of frenzy because, as he stated while still under the marihuana influence, a number of people were trying to cut off his arms and legs, seized an axe and killed his father, mother, two brothers, and a sister, wiping out the entire family except himself.” iveneverbeenthatripped

There’s the story of a guy and his girlfriend who “lost their senses so completely after smoking marihuana that they eloped and were married.” GASP! NO! There’s another drug that makes people lose their minds and do wild things… what’s it called again? Oh yeah, LOVE, but they have tried to outlaw that as well.

Weed doesn’t make you go on murderous rampages or make you marry people, the people themselves choose to do such things, regardless of what drug they are or aren’t on. Of course, there was no evidence that any of these statements were actually true. The DEA says that “Schedule I drugs have a high potential for abuse and the potential to create severe psychological and/or physical dependence.”

Schedule I drugs, are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse.

Who are these idiots claiming that marijuana is “dangerous” when it’s as safe as vitamins? Actually you could overdose on vitamins and die. Although, marijuana has never claimed a soul in 5,000 years. That’s a pretty good track record if you ask me. But what do I know? I’m just a stupid pothead with a crippling IQ of 162 and I’ve only smoked marijuana (off and on) for 21 years. Greta Carter an entrepreneur, and founder of a chain of clinics expressed that:

“What we know is that the VA has clearly identified the benefits of marijuana on post-traumatic stress syndrome. We also know that parents who have struggled daily with children suffering from seizures and movement disorders go to extremes to relocate their families to states that will allow them access to the medicine. We’ve heard from patients with AIDS and Cancer who find benefits from cannabis. There are studies outside of the US that actually show tumors being reduced with cannabis treatment. I find it unconscionable that we as a country that have over 500 deaths a year to aspirin, and none to cannabis in its entire history would ever try to stand in the way of this plant being readily available to whomever might seek it.”

If you don’t care about cancer sufferers, epileptics, glaucoma patients, innocent people stuck in prisons and are still anti-weed, fine but I’m sure you are still pro-money.

money

Yes, there are massive amounts of cash to be made from this crop.

$46 billion, the illegal market constituted 87% of marijuana sales last year. Money that you (and generations after you) could easily benefit from.

“In contrast to comparable markets with fast growth from zero to tens of billions in recent decades such as organic foods, home video, mobile, or the internet, the cannabis industry doesn’t need to create demand for a new product or innovation ― it just needs to move demand for an already widely-popular product into legal channels.” If you know about business you will know of supply and demand. We have an incredible amount of demand for marijuana (not to mention the multitudes of things we could make with hemp) but we are not allowed to supply it. We are forced to buy weed from the streets which essentially is stuffed into the drug cartel’s wallets. This means that our economy doesn’t benefit from the constant sales. We lose big time. burncash Here are 5 qualities your product needs to be successful according to Entrepreneur

1. It is easy to demonstrate.   2. It offers a solution to a problem many people have experienced. DEPRESSION – Marijuana has been used to treat depression throughout history. In 1621, English clergyman Robert Burton recommended its use in his book The Anatomy of Melancholy. Doctors in India were actively using it to treat their patients’ depression. wizsmile PAIN – Zach Walsh, a professor at the University of British Columbia. “If people use cannabis as a replacement for opioid medications, or to get off of opioids or cut back, we could see some pretty dramatic public health benefits. The level of opioid overdoses is so high right now.” 3. It is easy to manufacture.

  1. Get marijuana seeds
  2. Throw the seeds outside (they call it “weed” for a reason)
  3. Wait
  4. Done

4. It’s a reasonable size. A small bag can fit in your pocket or purse. You can slip a joint behind your ear. 5. You have a clear business plan.

  1. Get the weed
  2. Tell people you have the weed
  3. They buy every last bud you have

Booker’s Bill

arnold

“You see these marijuana arrests happening so much in our country, targeting certain communities — poor communities, minority communities — targeting people with an illness,” Booker, the former mayor of Newark. “This is the single most far-reaching marijuana bill that’s ever been filed in either chamber of Congress,” Tom Angell, chairman of the group Marijuana Majority, said in a statement. More than just getting the federal government out of the way so that states can legalize without [Drug Enforcement Administration] harassment, this new proposal goes even further by actually punishing states that have bad marijuana laws.

“Polls increasingly show growing majority voter support for legalization,” he said. “So this is something that more senators should be signing onto right away.” In order to lift the federal ban on cannabis, Booker’s bill seeks to remove it from the list of Schedule I drugs. As the longtime drug-reform nonprofit Drug Policy Alliance explained in a release, the bill additionally seeks to:

  • Cut federal funding for state law enforcement and prison construction if a state disproportionately arrests and/or incarcerates low-income individuals and/or people of color for marijuana offenses
  • Allow entities to sue states that disproportionately arrest and/or incarcerate low-income individuals and/or people of color for marijuana offenses
  • Prevent deportations of individuals for marijuana offenses
  • Provide for a process of expungement for marijuana offenses at the federal level
  • Provide for a process of re-sentencing for marijuana offenses at the federal level
  • Create a “Community Reinvestment Fund” of $500 million to invest in communities most impacted by the war on drugs, for programs such as job training, reentry, community centers, and more. Part of the funding will come from the aforementioned cuts to state law enforcement and prison construction.

“These marijuana arrests are targeting poor and minority communities, [and] targeting our veterans. We see the injustice of it all,” Booker continued. “I have seen young teenagers getting arrested, saddled with criminal convictions for the rest of their lives.”

So if you ever have a chance to vote for legalizing marijuana. Go ahead and vote to legalize it (no one has to know) then enjoy the boost to the economy and maybe get yourself some cash-flow too.

Decades ago, having a college degree meant that you could get a job but today employers are more inclined to hire you if you come toting 4 years of hands-on experience and an impressive portfolio, rather than a paper to prove that you were a decent test taker in school.

Today needed skills and technologies are advancing in a ferocious speed. There’s no time to write a textbook, setup a curriculum, have people apply for the class and before the students sat down, the information would be old news. Meanwhile in the real world, the self-taught, entrepreneurs are working, fine-tuning their skills, learning by trying, investing, growing their companies and networking.

So if you are think going to college will solve your life’s problems think again. Here are 10 reasons NOT to enroll.

1. THE DEBT

Americans have built up a mountain of student loan debt in America that has soared to $1.45 TRILLION DOLLARS. The cost of going to school has shot up 500% over the last 30 years, with no added value. In fact the value of a degree has decreased.

University dropout (and self-made billionaire), Mark Cuban has stated “our future will include a bursting of the student debt bubble, a significant drop in college tuitions, and an outright collapse of America’s institution of higher learning.”

2. You need to start working ASAP, not in 4-6 years.

If you attempt to get a Bachelor’s then you will waste the next 4 to 6 YEARS of your life sitting in class, taking tests, reading unnecessary books and listening to lectures on irrelevant subjects, all day, every day.

wastingtime

By the time you graduate, your peers who went to work right after high school, could own a thriving company or 2 or 3, and possibly not have to work anymore!

If you wait till you get a degree to get into your desired field, you might realize you don’t even like that industry. Thus, wasting many thousands of dollars and multiple years for nothing.

Robert Farrington, wrote in Forbes magazine that If you have an idea, consider giving that a shot before going to college. When you’re young, it’s a lot easier to take a risk and get started than when you’re older and have a family and larger financial obligations. Plus, the education you’ll get from starting your own business is priceless.

3. A degree doesn’t guarantee or entitle you to get your dream job

Many people will graduate from college, realize they can’t attain their ideal career and end up moving back to their parent’s house. They find that after all that school they still will struggle to achieve their perfect career because employers aren’t as impressed with their degree as they had hoped. One of the highest expenses for employers across every industry is on-the-job training. Employers want to hire people with experience, not book smarts.

They don’t tell you these realities in the college’s advertisements. Watch what an honest university’s commercial would look like.

4. We don’t need to know most of the things we learn in the classroom.

Educational institutes don’t teach skills that will help you live a successful, productive life after graduation. The following important life lessons are free and require no professors:

Resiliency: Failure is normal, how to get over it.

Relationships: Business and Personal

Emotional Coping Skills

Organizing, planning and following through 101

Goal setting, keeping and attaining

Win/Win business deals

Budgeting

Maintaining your home, cars and computers

Character building

5. University core classes waste half of your education

Most of core classes don’t benefit you and have nothing to do with your major. These mandatory courses involve reading irrelevant (in regards to your future career) books, memorizing answers and filling in bubbles on Scantrons. Those activities unnecessary and won’t be used outside of the classroom.

6. Getting an education sets you up to become a loyal, hard working slave

“The best slave is the one who thinks he is free.” ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The moment after you are hired you lose many of your human rights (privacy, speech, and so on), you will scamper around according to your master’s strict agenda, you get punished if you upset them. Your employer wants you to think you are valuable to the company, but you are just another “human resource” and your boss can replace you like a used tool. You have merged into the faceless mass obeying and worshiping the company owner because he is the reason you get a fixed, minuscule amount of the company’s earnings on payday. You need that paycheck so you can pay… your student loans.

Kash Shaikh stated on his site besomebody.com “The education system is broken. It’s about putting people in boxes. It’s about defining you and confining you. It’s about trying to shove you in between someone else’s lines. It’s about what grades you make, not what difference you make. It’s about how well you mimic and mime and memorize, not how much you craft and contribute and create.”

6. College is STRESSFUL

underbooks.jpeg

The finals, the exams, the projects, the assignments they all fill up your schedule. If you can’t afford to live in the dorms and you don’t want to live with your parents, then you are going to need a job while still maintaining your grades. Good luck surviving on a part-time wage and if you work full-time along with full-time school… you will lose your mind. The 2nd leading cause of death in college students is suicide.

7. The proof that you don’t need a degree to become rich and successful

These massively successful leaders do not have a college degree:

Bill Gates (Microsoft Windows), Oprah Winfrey, Steve Jobs (Apple), Mark Zuckerburg (Facebook), Elizabeth Arden, Ellen Degeneres, Ralph Lauren, Russell Simmons and Brad Pitt.

Don’t forget the founders of WordPress, Dropbox, Spotify, Twitter, Dell, Mattel and Hobby Lobby never wasted time getting a degree

9. The WORST way to make money is by working for another person

In the event that you find employment, you will make the company massive amounts of money but you will receive the same paycheck every week. If your performance starts to dip, you can could be fired at any moment. Isn’t that a comforting thought?

Why would we throw away our hard earned cash to enroll in “pre-slave camp”  to secure a spot in some indentured servants, cubical farm?

10. Most of the information you need to start your own business is on the Internet.

selftaught.jpeg

I recommend you become a self-taught expert in your field. There are massive amounts of information on this device you are staring at right now. YouTubes of tutorials, on-line courses, websites and e-books all right here for you to jump right in and learn (and do) the skills you need to succeed in your chosen field. FREE!

If you don’t attend college then use this time to search for your passion in life, take on-line career tests to give you an idea of what you want to do, watch tutorials from people who are in your desired field. Finally, Google how to get started and START.

Decades ago if we wanted to know about something we had to go to the library. Never in all of history has life been this easy. Today, you could become a millionaire and never even leave the house!

You know that you have that ancient laptop in your closet that might as well be in a “laptop grave”, never to be used again. You will feel pretty badass once you completely revive it by using this one secret…  Linux. It’s not for just computer enthusiasts anymore, your Grandma could use it. Plus, you will feel even cooler when you are using it (nerdy is sexy).

It’s like you will have a top secret operating system, with elite group of coders working 24/7 to make it even more amazing daily,  where almost all of the apps are free, 10x faster, 10x safer and viruses are so rare, that you don’t need an anti-virus. 498 of the top 500 supercomputers run Linux for a reason.

If you are new to Linux and you have an old laptop you aren’t using, you might as well try it out.

I am certain you will want to stick with Linux once you try it. Windows is inferiorating after being spoiled by the luxury of this free OS. Linux doesn’t ever tell me it’s “not responding”, it installs the drivers I need once I plug in a device, it’s ready to go.

Also, it’s highly unlikely you will ever get a virus (those are targeted at the unlucky Windows users), no antivirus needed (they slow down your computer anyways) and it will make an old laptop quite snappy and a new one AMAZING. Yes, I am a bit passionate for Linux.

Things you’ll need:

  • an empty flash drive
  • the internet
  • about an hour
  • an old dusty laptop (all data backed up)

So, now that you have all of the above, get on a computer (that is already up and running) and plug in your empty flash drive.

Step 1

Download Linux Mint (I like the Cinnamon edition, but you can choose).

Download Rufus

When they are done downloading open up Rufus and make sure it’s set for your USB, it is set to format to FAT32 and check  “Create a bootable disk using ISO image” then click on the little disk icon next to it.

Find your LinuxMint.ISO file and choose it. Then click “Start” on Rufus. When Rufus is done, close it and reboot your laptop.

Step 2
As your laptop starts revving up again click the ESC, F12, DEL, F2, F10 or possibly F1. Your computer will tell you which key to press to get you into the “Boot Menu”,  “Boot Device Options” or BIOS (it is different on different computers).

Get to the “Boot Menu” and use the keyboard arrows to highlight your USB drive and hit enter.

Choose “Run live session and install” if it asks.

***** The live Linux Mint OS will start up ****

Go to the panel where your wifi signal is and connect, or plug in your ethernet cable.

Click the “Install Linux Mint” icon on the desktop
 (don’t worry this won’t hurt a bit!)

Now, choose your language and click “Continue”. Check the box to install 3rd party apps and ” Continue“.

Choose “Erase hard drive and install Linux” (this will delete Windows and good riddance! Say goodbye to buying anti-virus and office programs! Most all of the apps and games for Linux are free!)

Next, it will ask you for your timezone, username and password
Linux will tell you when it’s done installing.
When it does finish, pull out the flash drive and reboot the laptop.

Now it will boot right into Linux Mint!

Congratulations! Look at you, you just installed LINUX!  😉 GENIUS!

* You will want to update it so click on Apps and find “Terminal”, open that and type:

sudo apt-get update && upgrade

Type in your password and hit enter. This will update everything and could upgrade the entire OS (that’s a good thing). You can use your laptop while it is doing all that work in the background.

If you ever run into an issue, most of the solutions are just a Google search away. Also, I am happy to help you if you are stuck or have any questions. Enjoy!

You don’t have to live a life of shame,  fake happiness, guilt of imperfection, fake perfection, fear or punishment.  You don’t have to be misguided, lied to, brainwashed, trapped in an unhappy or abusive marriage. You don’t have to be a robot in a mass of other robots, clapping their hands and chanting their robot songs. Cyborgs that freely give their hard drives to the misguided master programmer to fill it with what they see fit. Not to mention handing over 10% of their paycheck to their master programmer.

You don’t have to torture yourself because you aren’t the right kind of sheep for their herd. You don’t have to feel guilty for who you are just because you think there is an invisible man living in the clouds judging you.

I used to be the same way.

I grew up in a Christian household and I’ve got some deep emotional damage from that mindset. If you are in a religion, I don’t mean to make you feel ignorant but I just want you to know that your life doesn’t have to be that way, just because some imaginary, invisible guy in the clouds will send you to hell (another imaginary place) if you don’t obey his rules.

Being an intelligent person, deep down I always doubted this story I was told. I still did the whole song and dance of religion. I really wanted the story to be true. Eventually I couldn’t believe anymore. I knew too much.
I don’t want to claim Atheism or Agnosticism. I just want nothing to do with religion. It is a waste of time and mental space.
I am a truth seeker and a truth exposer for other truth seekers (like yourself). I do not strive to stomp all over people’s religions because many of them put their entire sense of security into their religion. If your religion helps you feel like you are loved or brings you together with others, then that is fine, you do you.
I came to this realization in 2009 and tested it in 2011 (bare with me, this is  going to get graphic) when I  went to the hospital for severe stomach pain. I was told I needed an emergency appendectomy. My appendix had burst during surgery and infected my insides (peritonitis). I had a huge abscess in my abdomen that had to be drained for over a month. I spent almost a month in the ICU in severe pain from my insides getting more and more infected.

Eventually I became septic (blood infection) and my organs were shutting down. I could hardly breathe anymore.

I kept slipping out of consciousness (that’s never good) and was awoken by nurses screaming and shaking me “WAKE UP! BREATHE! BREATHE!” It’s a very helpless feeling when you are uncontrollably, passing out and not breathing. I had to very consciously breathe and stay awake.
Did I run back to religion in my dire situation? No.
I did pray (if there was a god) that I don’t believe in him and if he’s real then he should just kill me already. I told him if I survive I will tell as many people as I can that he is just a bullshit illusion. I refused for him to listen to other’s prayers for me. I didn’t need his imaginary presence. I might as well believe that Santa Claus will heal me.

I believed that my cells would know how to repair my body and I would eventually be fine, despite what anyone thought. I might not of had the best life at the time but dammit it was MY LIFE. The only life, for sure, that I am guaranteed. I’m not letting it slip through my fingers into nonexistence.

Eventually and FINALLY, I was released (with a drain and bag of nastiness protruding out of my lower back). That was taken out after pleading with my doctor to take it out. He thought I should keep it in for another week and I told him take it out now, he did. Even though there was an abscess inside my body with a hole in it where the drain punctured, I healed. Just as I had thought, my cells repaired everything.

My perseverance and stubbornness for MY turn to be alive, my insatiable curiosity of the world and my desire to share my experiences to open the eyes of others helped me to fight against death and win.

This was not my first near-death experience but it was one of the closest I’ve had. I  don’t believe it was an invisible man and his invisible gang of “angels” that helped me to survive any of them. They were about as helpful as Greek mythology characters, and just as real.

In religions we are taught that we are weak without god and we could never survive without him. I am here to say, that is not true.
